Thanks for the links, interesting read. I only scanned them but focus seems to be on cholesterol in the phospholipid bi-layer of the cell membrane cf free state. Makes me curious if there is any known association between relative amounts of embedded cholesterol and NASH/NAFLD. While a potential confounding variable for modulation of chemokine binding my hunch is it is working at the margins. You are right though…it gets complex.
