Oh it turns out, Alice was never an employee after all. Just a contractor. A terminated one at that according to Moonshiners. That is VERY different than what the Moonshiners were saying previously and they were SO SURE of what they were spewing.
So the company had zero employees? That's very odd indeed. Even more odd, the contractor filled board seats with her girlfriends that had zero crypto experience. Not that they knew anything about fake gold mines either.
