I'm guessing you didn't read the details of the grant. And....No, it is not a continued grant. It is an entirely new project with a different funding contract from NIH. If I recall correctly, the pie in the sky that NP was talking about involved using leronlimab in the bone marrow recipient patient to reduce likelihood of GvHD and to effectively eliminate any chance of a viral reservoir.

This study is using adenovirus bearing capsids to deliver leronlimab to immune cells to achieve a functional cure. This adenovirus targets T and B cells. Nothing with stem cells or painful bone marrow transplants and horrible radiation/chemo treatments that Timothy Brown or Adam Castillejo went through. Yes, it's a very lofty target but Dr. Sacha is the right one for the job.
