Good Morning All. I am just doing some thinking outside the box here, so bear with me a moment.

In my opinion, Hollund and or NorthCal will need to produce an ESIA (Environmental and Social Impact Assessment) that meets both Brazilian and World Bank / International Finance Corporation social and environmental standards before beginning their harvesting operation. An ESIA carefully assesses potential social and environmental impacts of a proposed operation. An ESIA also provides specific measures to minimize and mitigate impacts that are identified. Typically, an ESIA takes a precautionary approach and includes extensive monitoring during operations to evaluate mitigation measures.

The advantages: An ESIA will help establish world-class social and environmental management and performance practices that will help HIMR/NorthCal in Brazil and in other countries who likely will examine any work performed in this first test theater. Another benefit is financial. The World Bank / International Finance Corporation can supply funding and lots of it should HIMR/NorthCal chose to go in that direction.

Was an ESIA already produced during the prototype testing phase? I don't know. However, I can telling you that Triton has an ESIA for their operation in Ghana for their Volta Lake project.
