i look at it a little differently:
in other words, take as big a position as you can afford to lose (assuming you've done your diliigence), don't take any profits until the valuation reaches your target, don't wait for news - it will be too late by then.
that said, i'm not saying your approach is wrong - just totally different from the way i look at this. my view is this could be a massive wealth creator once it realizes it's potential - and the move up could come too fast for a timid approach. The extreme example would be a $20 buyout - and if you're waiting for that news, you're out of luck
