bringing a new CEO on board was something i had been less focused on in the very near term. And it's been long enough that some may be asking if it will ever happen (or happen before a partnership).
I think adding a high quality CEO is the somewhat dark horse June event that could be big (along with some rock solid NASH data). Of course, the key will be the quality part. If we are able to attract an experienced biopharma CEO with connections, etc. - it will speak volumes to our potential, and where we're going. Because no one with a lot of credibility will hitch their wagon to a company that doesn't have a very bright future.
I think it could happen in June, along with solid NASH data. In terms of a partnership, i still think that's a little further down the line - but if we release great data in June, and get a solid CEO, the partnership talks may be imminent. Just my 2 cents, but I maintain that we will see some fireworks before the 4th of July - and who doesn't love some early fireworks!!.
