Thank you Ken for clearing that up. I forgot about this study, somehow I thought it had to do the mets to the brain.
If anyone knows how CytoDyn is pursuing metastasis to the brain in mTNBC, please say so.
I completely agree with you and ohm that pd-1 inhibitors are not necessary. mTNBC is the most virulent of the breast cancers and as we stand we have a documented 12.5 month OS. the best pd-1 inhibitor, paclitaxel and nab-paclitaxel only had a 6 month OS.
the side effects of the chemo do not warrant the benefits. it's a shame we need to tarnish this drug in combination therapy. This seems to be the only way though, at least in cancer, combination therapy.
