Since Tanya's professional history seems to make this degree of ignorance highly unlikely I can think only of two explanations: she has either no good knews to report or is under some gigantic NDA's which prohibit even a hint of any good knews under the threat of being hanged and then beheaded. Personally, I tend to think it's the former.
