MarcS said it well. A guy lives on a boat in a marina. Cool.
When I thought a family member needed LL for a basket trial diagnosis, I reached out to SK and Dr. Jay. Prompt and compassionate response from each; LL treatment didn't happen.
I did some easy DD at that time. I love Dr. Jay. When he speaks, I love him more. How to save the world? Well, maybe he's on his boat deck with partially full glass in hand, watching the setting sun color the clouds, wondering how to offload the Ohm-like CCR5/LL theories/conclusions in his head. Maybe present the info to his NIH buddies. At least it might stick in their own heads, get some wheels truning, and he'll have recorded documentation of his efforts.
CEO for our company? No. (imo: 1. Not an aspiration for him, 2. Not his wheelhouse (pun attempt))
