I was never a big shot in high school. A nerd. A geek. Gifted. band clarinet player all of it. Always picked on. Always then one day I split my shit, punched the kid right in the face at lunch time. In front of the whole 3 grades. Nobody ever fucked with me again. Spent Summer at home grounded. The paddle hurt. Dad gave me a curfew. Not allowed out, couldn't go back to school for 2 weeks. Did Saturday detention and after school detention for a month. But I think it proved a point. When someone wants to push me, I will give it right back, rightly so.
