Leronlimab does not dislodge chemokines that are already bound to CCR5. It binds to empty CCR5 receptors blocking any other binding.

The inflammatory state does not result in white fat, the white fat induces inflammation. Blocking CCR5 with leronlimab can convert white fat to brown fat to an extent and also results in a preferential of new fat as brown fat. Why brown fat is good is it increases energy burn rates further reducing white fat.
