Most people don't know any more, but Foot Locker used to be a division of F W Woolworth. Woolworth filed Chapter 11 in 1994 and put the money into Foot Lockers , men's woemns and kids, and Champs Sporting Goods as well. They had others as well, but the above is their main focus. I know this because I was in Woolworth Management from 1969 to 1978. I saw the future for Woolworth was not bright and fled.
