Mikey - yes, you are so right, family always comes first!
Please share with Doc that someone in my family is going to Penn - in Phila - for Proton Therapy. Depending on the type of Cancer, they have had remarkable success rates. 99% with some types and 80+% with other types - including Lung. Another facility doing Proton Therapy - outside of Phila - is Fox Chase Cancer Center and they are associated with Temple Medical. Since Doc lives in MD, my guess is he may be using Johns Hopkins, but, I don't know if they do Proton Therapy. He may be familiar with Penn & Temple, but, I figured it can't hurt to let him know.
