i know in the short term it might make you feel better, but in the long term, the number of CCR5 receptors being expressed on the macrophages and Tregs are decreasing.

dexamethasone/cortisone fools the system into thinking that everything is ok. The Innate and Adaptive responses are non-functional until the cortisone wears off. If you keep taking it, the immune system remains delayed.

with cortisone/dexa, it's like all the CCR5 are blocked by CCL5, but it may be with cortisone itself. It's like the Tregs tell the natural killer cells to shut off and leave the invader alone. It's like the M-1 macrophage gets converted to the pro pathogen M-2 macrophage.

try to stay clear of anything which impairs the immune system
remember, long covid is a weakened immune system, not an overactive one like bruce patterson wants you to think
