I'm pretty, pretty sure the Analyst wasn't worried about $5.00. His price target was based on 3 pages of numbers. Not 3 pages of pretend message board analysts.
Obviously the stock, not we, need to go to .50, .75, 1.25, 2.33, 3.01, 3.89, 4.24 to get to $5.00
Something I usually keep in mind...
When a stock goes way up for no reason, maybe it's an opportunity to sell.
When a stock goes way down for no reason, maybe it's an opportunity to buy.
I also noticed over the years, traders and shorts tend to look at the share price and ignore the market cap nor invest little time, if any, into understanding the fundamental value of a company. It's always, the stock is going .05 lower, blah, blah, blah. Most don't know what companies actually do nor care.
For me, I look at the market cap and ask, can I recreate all the products and obtain all the customers and users for $29M as it sits today and generate the current revenue. The answer is pretty simple for me, but everyone should do their own research and not worry about posts on message board and social media.
Keep in mind whoever is dropping the price down this low is going to have to cover those shares. So if it doesn't stay in one spot for too long, it's going to be very painful chasing to cover. But I guess, that's their bet.
"Valuation attractive: We are maintaining our BUY rating, but lowering our 12-
month price target to $5.00 from $5.25, based on a NPV analysis, representing
significant upside from the current share price. We believe this valuation
appropriately balances out the company’s high risks with the company’s high
growth prospects and large upside opportunities"
