FDA clears test to see if amyloid is present in cerebrospinal fluid. I assume that means that some kind of invasive procedure like a spinal tap is needed.

As long as they view the amyloid level as a SYMPTOM and not the cause, this is great news. If it gives new life to the tragically flawed amyloid-CAUSE theory -- then, ugh.
