In whatever sense...we live in a less-than-ideal world...and the FDA has operated in that same environment...it would be difficult to calculate the irreparable damage they have wrought upon the general public...by their self-idealistic approach to medicine...their mantra of "Safety first"...is a water bucket filled with self-inflicted holes...anointed by both Big Money and Big Pharma...Their mandate going back to 1906 was "Pure Food and Drugs"...what a joke, considering Monsanto and Purdue Pharma...to name but two... that scored heavily on the Agency...with seemingly no effort.
