It IS a mystery…
We’ve got solid NASH data which would, presumably, drive up the PPS.
But we’re holding it back and raising money at this low PPS.
Which begs the question: why?
The only explanation that makes sense to me is that there’s a Buy Out in the works and the suitor wants NASH under wraps for now, so we’re just raising $ to keep the lights on until the BO trigger date.
Now, the only problem with that theory is that so few of us think a Buy Out is likely pre-approval(s).
So what else might explain raising money while simultaneously holding back information that could help us sell shares at higher pps? It’s a head scratcher.
Bashers might argue it could mean NASH isn’t great. But there’s no way we’re presenting at NASH conference unless data is solid. Occam’s razor.
