Two Too many words….
“ Yes, I agree that Evil does a great job of managing what he has to work with in the way of support & the expectations of support regarding guidelines & TOS.
He is basically on an island, as are other mods, being asked to enforce the rules of the mainland & he is here a bunch. Plus long & invested.
Not to take sides, but I agree with Kevin that reputation of poster is not as important as content for discussion purposes. I also agree with Evil that one who repeatedly defies the principles this board was founded on should not be allowed to take repeated shots for the mere purpose of flipping the board. That they would do so is indicative of intent. Why not just start their own board?
Unfortunately, the people who could easily settle it all are AWOL.
I wonder... if the community were to set their own guidelines & support mods, would we have any issues? Would ownership suddenly choose to become involved? I am thinking they would have to be smacked more than a few times as I am not sure how vested their interests are.”
