The Long Covid is a huge challenge that is not going to be easily solved. So much is unknown. I'm sure a number of them have tried many things only to feel beyond frustration and at this point, highly skeptical of anything and everything. Especially something that cost money. A couple of tweets isn't going to change that.
I would not waste my time trying to convince a few (0.0001%) to try something else. Focus on those that want to and let them speak to their outcomes as they likely will be very vocal with even just some success, within their own communities. Even better yet, through their doctors.
If I was a Long Hauler, I'd read up on 3cl protease inhibitors and then decide if I want to discuss with my doctor and potentially join a study. Much more productive than debating on twitter with the hardened skeptics. I do get, better to be a skeptic in the sense you narrow down the best choices rather than trying anything and everything. Give them the tools to accelerate their learning. Teach them were to fish, rather than trying to sell them grouper sandwiches.
It does remind me if iLie though. You got those that actually tried the product and knows it works and then you have others that spend all day and night warning people, not because the product doesn't work, but they don't like someone.
At this point, we don't know if Tollovid would help 1% or 100% of sufferers. Too early, but would be great if some. Wasn't the focus of Todos anyway, but they are trying to help. Point people to join the study and if they can't wait or feel like trying Tollovid sooner then go ahead. The price was dropped for the next month for them.
