It actually is a sales tool. Here's an example.

Back to my original questions...
What's the difference between Market and Flip, Whatnot, NTWRK or a few others shoppable platforms?
You got the short answer right...
No comparison to Market
maybe Verb already put a comparison marketing slick together that explains this to their potential customers.
Each of the above are pigeonholed into a niche, whether is beaty product only, sneakers, pokemon cards, etc. Rather focused or what I'd call limited. Imagine if you had to go to 20 Amazon's or ebay type sites to find what you wanted.
Now specifically about Flip.Shop with my 3 minutes of DD. Flip buys beauty products from a BUNCH of brands at wholesale prices and then influencers get on and do these videos and make money. Maybe if I spent another 2 minutes there is more, but I doubt it. There are no companies, small businesses, etc. It's basically 1 company, Flip.Shop making the money and giving people a commission. Interesting model for themselves. They sure got the name right as Flip.Shop is just flipping (reselling) beauty products for themselves. There are so many brands, it's like walking into a paint store and getting overwhelmed with the choices. I guess people just go to their favorites?
This article from last Sept said they had 30K shipments...
Social commerce app Flip emerges as the TikTok of online beauty shopping - SEP 7, 2021

Keep in mind the worst thing Flip.Shop could have done was to launch with a few brands. Same thing with Verb which is why they are onboarding a bunch of companies.
The first Market event that will be open to the public coming up next Thursday. Note that Market will not be open up, but just Wander Beauty and their products. Think of it as a stand alone store in a shopping mall with the interior doors locked. I suspect it won't be too different than the Alix Traeger event which I really enjoyed seeing the replay and exciting we now know for sure, people are hosting successful events that look professional

VERB’s MARKET Livestream Platform to Host Wander Beauty Livestream Shopping Event on May 5, 2022, at 2 p.m. ET
“We heard you, and while MARKET vendors continue to onboard and build out their MARKET stores for the summer festivals, we wanted to give all of you a sneak peek at a MARKET shopping experience through the standalone stores , and Wander Beauty’s amazing products and livestream expertise is the perfect opportunity."
