Re: Goosebumps #121749
Great post, Goose. I admit my unbridled optimism has diminished over the last year for a SP spike . . .
- after I learned what the FDA did to our CD-12 trial design (2 vs 4),
- after I learned how the DSMB failed to give us a heads-up on the 3:1 imbalance of older patients in our LL arm vs control,
- after the FDA slammed our 'subgroup results' (even though they were so much better than Remdeath),
- after we got publicly scolded and denied a COVID EUA,
- after the Philippines fell off the map,
- after our trusted/experienced CRO seemingly deliberately botched (for years) our HIV data submissions,
- after Canada and Mexico fell off the map,
- after so many hospitals in Brazil, we only got 9 critical patients after approx 5 months.
- after the FDA slammed us AGAIN with a public letter (for what, I'm still not sure, I thought the FDA's charter was to just ensure the drugs they APPROVE are safe/effective)
- after so many reprehensible idiots spout so many outright lies/FUD on both the ihub and yahoo boards literally every hour of every day 24/7/365, thus proving they MUST be funded by an entity that wants Cytodyn to fail (and by extension, for people to die).
I see these things during a pandemic with no approved therapeutic that works, and I know the mountain before us isn't poorly designed trials or poor leadership or an ineffective drug. Our mountain is a corrupt FDA and BP companies that will do anything to sabotage our trials, including killing patients by blocking our drug.
I don't know how we climb this mountain, how we defeat the unholy alliance of BP/FDA rot. I suppose all we can do is what we are doing, e.g., hire the best law firm we can, partner with a (hopefully) not-completely-corrupt BP, and perhaps get an EUA in some nation that cares more about saving their citizens than upsetting BP.
I'm still buying CYDY, I bought 2600 shares last week. This is my one and only investment, and I know financial advisors and anyone with a brain would tell me I'm a financial idiot. Maybe just an idiot. But I've never seen Leronlimab fail.
And I know if I had critical COVID or cancer or frankly any other life-threatening disease, there is NOTHING - aside from a heavenly intercession from Padre Pio - I would want more than Leronlimab.
I'm no MD, but if there ever is such a thing as a medical Holy Grail, we have it.
And like the USS Johnston, despite overwhelming odds, we just have to attack, attack, attack!
