I do not know why they are doing what they are with the website, but I will share some thoughts as to why I like it.
Beyond trials & p-value IMO part of the FDA's function is to ensure that when doctors evaluate meds for their patients, they have no more & no less information than is required to make an informed decision in the patients best interest. This is especially true when you consider the number of malpractice lawsuits these days.
NP put out endless information & anecdotes for the sake of promoting the stock(part of his job). But post- approval, too much information would be an ambulance-chaser's dream come true. It would also be a sales reps' reason for many trying days.
IMO, the website is consistent with the January PR- pursuing commercialization.
I feel really good about what's going on.
