Federal health bureaucrats have proven themselves too easily influenced, compromised, and corrupted, and this is not a recent development. No competition amongst the states centralizes way too much power in DC."

Yeah, because there is no corruption, or incompetence, on the state level. Of course, I live in Utah where pigs fly and Unicorns freely roam the Salt Flats.

Corruption and incompetence are human traits. Pretty difficult to hide from them in a social society. Besides, "wishes and fishes", the FDA ain't going anywhere anytime soon and we need to learn to dance to their music since its the only tune playing.
