Sure, if your definition of inspired is anything that causes one to do something, such as having no better alternative than to mortgage your only asset. That is "inspired" by desperation. Like all of us, I am hoping that changes quickly, but NO ONE thinks putting your only asset on the line is a move made by someone in a good position.
