I don't have an issue with Army or any of the other longs
I don't have an issue with Army or any of the other longs being optimistic. They know something or think they know something from their DD that causes their optimism. What the hell is wrong with that!
I also don't have a problem if "longs" are banking profits selling some shares while holding a sizable position. They have their money tied up in a long term investment, so, why not make some money when the PPS fluctuates while waiting for a big run? That is smart trading and takes a sizable invest to do it. We are all trading trying to make money.
I would only have a problem if they know something negative is happening and they are trying to entice buyers by their optimism - so they can sell. There is absolutely no indication that Army or any of the other known longs are doing this.
