Hello to any infrequent visitors to this board, as well as those here for the first time trying to read up on CYDY to see if it’s worth your money.
You may notice that today’s subject matter is overwhelmingly of the whiny baby variety. I assure you that normally this is not the case. The problem is that momma and poppa CYDY took away the candy they’d been feeding the children. Those same children are now having some rather large withdrawals and some are making big, definitive statements about the lack of sugar and what it must mean.
You’ll have to decide for yourselves, as the only definitive statement that can be made is that nobody here knows why the company is so silent. They/we/I don’t know whether there’s a deal brewing or not. Whether there’s an NDA in place or if the company just woke up one day and decided to spit in the faces of the shareholders.
That last part is highly unlikely, by the way.
The truth lies somewhere in between the most optimistic outcome (a kajillion dollar buyout offer) and a moderately negative one (money is low and cuts are a comin’). Bankruptcy is likely not a realistic option on the low end. You don’t pay a $6.5 million bond and keep trials running when you’re about to close up shop.
A shakeup is in the works and we won’t know what it is and what it means for us until things are fully shooken (medical term). When they have something to say, they’ll say it. They don’t owe us an update meant to make our tummies less rumbly. In fact, any of you weak-stomached folks out there should have done what I did years ago, and fortified your gut with many a chili cheese dog breakfast. Two dogs per, in fact. With cheese fries. Because now I couldn’t get a rumbly tummy from a drop in share price or company silence to save my life. The only thing that can disrupt my gut now is if I eat a salad. Man does that piss off my stomach. Runs through me like a young Herschel Walker. Gotta stay close to home for that. I’m a home court advantage player anyway, but especially after eating a salad.
Long story short, LL is good and we should be too. Even if it takes longer than we think or we have to endure a short quiet stretch from the company.
Respertfully Yours,
