I hear ya, Riz, but it is the last sentence of your post which is my main point about your post (which, by the way, is a fine post).
We ALL want people to live, yes yes...on that we can all agree.
Do we all agree that we'd rather have people live and it would be ok for us to lose tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars of our own money for that to happen? Well, that's quite a different call. We ALL want the SP to go up AND save lives. They are very much the same thing and to me, cannot really be separated. If they could be separated, we'd all have donated to charity altruistically, for which there is no monetary gain for us.
Lives and dollars...show us both!
