I feel strongly that CFS and probably other illnesses that have similar symptoms, are largely, if not wholly, a result of microbiome imbalances, both in the small and large intestines, based on my many years of dealing with the illness.
I think that's why different triggers can lead to similar symptoms. I know microbiome issues tend to be the go to possibilities for everything but what I've experienced leads me to believe that they lead to disruptions in nutritional metabolisms, especially in B vitamins, zinc, copper and iron, and everything else flows from that.
It's amazing how I've been able to modulate my symptoms with specific probiotics, herbs or food but there doesn't seem to be any way to put it all together to restore health. My hope for leronlimab is that its immune modulating mechanism could cause the body to somehow and at least somewhat restore the imbalance but I'm far from an expert who could say exactly how.
