Which is very short term thinking and often counter-productive in the long run. Lee Iacocca brought Chrysler back from the grave with the K-car platform. Which inculcated a corporate strategy of building junk because the public will buy anything. In the long run Chrysler lost sales because of it and ended up in the hands of Fiat. Which is quite fitting. Having owned two Fiat Spyders (yes I'm a gluten for punishment) I can say Fiats are junk too.
