what you're really getting at is the distinction between speculative and safer investors.
The difference for me has almost always been "risk tolerance", dating back to the mid 70's, when I was a newly minted 21 year old and could legally gamble the night (and often the day) away in Vegas. In my most honest reflections, it has always been about the challenge, the chase.
Investing, by its very definition, should not be a high wire act, but when you choose to buy into OTC, biot tech, pre revenue companies with no approved indications, well, that is precisely what it is.
We believe the science behind this molecule and we believe it will fundamentally alter the medical landscape, IF it is allowed to see the light of day.
Most of us have gone through the ups and downs and even though I am severely under water at this cmoment, it makes more sense to add another 10%$ if I can, before the announcement, pronouncement, or whatever is made.
