I believe people love to say that, in large part, due to the perception that civil litigation is out of control. As a society, we absolutely need the ability to seek redress through the courts (thinking about Amarex right now), but the headlines are screaming nearly non-stop with the sensational and absurd.

We can blame the lawyers, after all, we mint them by the boat load, we can blame the plaintiffs, who "sue at the drop of a hat" or even for the hat that "might" drop, but we should look to the lawmakers that refuse to support and pass tort reform.

We are and should be appreciative we have the representation we do as we are at a critical juncture for our tiny little company.
