The FDA says the efficacy is unproven. In the eyes of the FDA they are the only arbiter of efficacy. Of course the scum run with that and bleat it's not scientifically valid because the FDA hasn't said it is.

The entire process of drug approval doesn't reach the apex of scientific proof. There is rarely independent trials verifying the results from the initial trials. But in multiple studies different doctors have seen benefit with leronlimab in Covid and the results and tests match up with leronlimab's MOA.
