JOE Biden has called to "redirect" police funding and demilitarize cops, but his campaign said "no" to Black Lives Matter's "defund."
During the interview, the presidential hopeful said that the police have "become the enemy."
"Surplus military equipment for law enforcement, they don't need that! The last thing you need is an up-armored Humvee coming into a neighborhood, it's like the military invading," he said.
"They don't know anybody. They become the enemy. They're supposed to be protecting these people."
When he was asked whether he agrees that the government can "redirect" police funding, he replied, "yes, absolutely."
