Sorry for the delayed reply.
I used similar reasoning for breaking the conventional rules of investing. Then I realized conventional rules get you the conventional 6% lifetime gains.
Personally, I hung out at Hangout (a for longs message board) Even here, the naysayers such as Closet, relentlessly denounced the chance of a successful HIV BLA & attacked NP's character & qualifications to the point of being so obsessed that few could see the value of such extremism.
Me being honest with me- I was not led nor was I misled. It was the lure of easy money. It was the action. It was the buzz. It was the ticket for me.
Damn the torpedoes, double down or buy savings bonds. (not directed at you,but what I say to myself in these exciting times)
