FDA Letter excerpt: "The video represents in a promotional context that leronlimab, an investigational new drug, is safe and effective for the purpose for which it is being investigated or otherwise promotes the drug. "
"Promoting" a non-existent drug to a non-existent audience of users? This is the OPDP, a prescription drug watchdog. Is LL considered a prescription drug? Sounds like a case of a hammer thinking everything is a nail.
Every drug study interim announcement I have ever read contained promotional/optimistic language and conclusions, including the FDA's announcement of its approval of its notorious alz drug.
