Actually that happens much of the time in negotiating deals. Particularly when, as is usually the case, one party has a lot more bargaining power than the other.
Other than the numbers and maybe some options that the weaker party can select or deselect, the form and language of the agreement is usually dictated by the stronger party. The weaker party might also be able to add some additional paragraphs to the agreement or strike some language from the agreement.
