The QD Sensor in that article seems to me would be something QMC would need for it's anticounterfeiting detector, as it would identify good currency from bad. Given that QMC QD can be any visible or invisible color in the spectrum, there are tens of billions of combinations of QD possible.
If QMC is selling anticounterfeiting, they already have a scanning detector that matches their capabilities IMO.
