We know that all of the CCR receptors increase when an immune or injurious challenge is presented. CCR5 is by far the most prolific CCR receptor and is the main CCR mechanism in the immune system. The other receptors are mainly backups to it.

Ohm - Thanks for clarifying the phenomenon of the increase in the CCR5 count during an immune response. My first instinct was to believe the CCR5 count remained static during illness and even during a LL treatment. Which of course is incompatible with homeostasis. It was a weak/blurry spot in my understanding of the MoA.
