Re: ArtistsView #117908
Lots of comments about the two job listings.
Some comments centered on the fact that the job was listed for NYC. That said, the guy who listed the jobs, George Bitar, the Executive Director/Global Head of CMC Quality at CytoDyn, also works in New York, and has for two years. So I don't think the NY listing means we'll be bought up by a NY-based company.
We might ask why CYDY needs new people to work in its CMC quality control department in New York -- where is Leron manufactured? Do we think more manufacturing of Leron will happen soon?
Isn't this stranger than the fact the job is in NYC?: Both jobs immediately went from "I'm hiring" to "no longer accepting applications" in less than a day. That was fast. You'd think that if they actually hired someone, it would take longer. What would be more likely is that the jobs were posted and then something happened to make Bitar/CYDY stop listing the jobs. This is where I'd like to center my ridiculous speculations:
1) The new partner got wind of these hirings and didn't want them to happen, at least publicly.
2) The partnership/buyout was still up in the air until.... late yesterday. So CYDY ceased looking immediately.
3) The new partner decided to fill those jobs themselves.
I still think that bankruptcy is off the table. Bitar wouldn't have advertised the jobs in the first place if we were going bankrupt. And both of these jobs seem to have to do with the manufacturing and storage of the drug (correct me if I'm wrong); this would imply that Samsung is about to make some more product for us. That would be news. Why would they be doing that?
Anyone giving this post thumbs down has my tacit approval. I'm not sure what I'm saying. But I want to give a shout out to crazy jogger for his bald-headed YAT reference... once a year I got to sit in Section 32 and see a game. Saw YAT throw for 7 tds against the Skins. You could look it up.
