Data that I've been following indicates 7 day case average at 183K and 758 deaths, more than 10 times higher cases and 7 times higher deaths than a month ago.
Also, for what it's worth there are 23 critical and 27 severe Brazilian trial sites. CD12 was 10-15 sites for more of the trial duration, peaking at 18 at the end (which appears to correlate with the loss of trial oversight and unequal age assortment).
Water under the bridge, but Cytodyn and AE seem well-poised to capitalize on the ongoing surge in Brazil. Of course, we've heard similar assessments before. Fingers crossed that Albert Einstein is the professional organization that they are held to be and that the utility of Leornlimab will finally be proven.
