Totally agree, I would ask for total silence too, but if you are CYDY, that destroys any and all leverage most likely, UNLESS the third party making an offer is SO big that no one else could match it no matter what.

There is no need for a bidding war if no other party could match what is being offered. Other than than, no reason to remain silent if the results are so good that there would be multiple bidders.
