It amazes me some people are clueless on the timeframe to setup a JV sub in the US with and international partner and just post a lot of noise.
Read all sorts of nonsense like NLC must be renegotiating the deal.
Sure, they sign a binding agreement and announced it on Nov. 29, 2021 and waited over two months to renegotiate it. Makes absolutely zero sense
I see deals between US companies take 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and nervous kittens getting ants in their pants about a JV with an international company taking less than 3 months? Come on
Oh and there was this thing called the holidays and this other little thing called Covid that at some companies and government organizations have a bunch of people out of work.
I read someone commented that is no excuse, companies have DocuSign.
Ahhh, it's a little more involved then closing on a house. Which BTW usually takes 60 days on average. The signing documents is the easy part. It's all the stuff that comes before where you need people.
I suspect the deal will still be closing imminent. If a company says that, they most know a closing date at this point. Oh, before you ask, it's material information so don't bother asking.
