That's interesting, and especially if you're still covered by your NDA. The last time I spoke to a Paulson rep, they could and would tell you anything that you'd like to know while encouraging you to participate in the current offering due to your NDA. But this doesn't sound like an offering, or they would have told you that. It sounds like Paulson is involved in some other type of negotiation.
