Agree merge seems less likely than a partnership but I’m drawing parallels with smaller companies. GILD originally wanted to merge with IMMU.

Maybe I’m a little far off and buyout would be higher on the drawing board than merge but I just think a buyout is not happening.

Maybe someone can debunk what I’m saying or add to why a merge would make more sense than just a partnership. I just found it odd GILD was looking to merge originally with IMMU before a buyout.
