Obviously one can say the longer the silence, the more/less chance there is of a deal. Let's look at the optics.
Couple the silence with the firing of NP and it can take on a different color than it being likely, because if NP was in the way of a deal, he has now been out of the way for the better part of a week and the silence is deafening. Any 3rd party company with enough power to cause the Board to fire NP as they did would have already made the offer and the Board would have felt that it was strong enough to oust NP and we would most likely have heard about the offer by now. That does NOT appear to be the case so far.
To me, the timing and immediacy of his firing, with no other CEO waiting to step in so that CYDY doesn't miss a beat, mixed with complete silence for a week now, screams very loudly.
