Horizontal well in Egypt
I remember when TGA / TGL drilled this Horizonal well in Egypt
The oil is heavy and the vertical wells did less than 15 barrel oil per day . Did a test Horizontal and the extra cost was equal to 2 or 3 vertical wells being drilled . At the time we ask to change lease terms and Egypt said no . My guess we will drill several Horizontal wells in this field quick if we have not already . JMHO

TransGlobe successfully completed the first, multi-stage, horizontal ("Hz"
well stimulation in Egypt at Arta #12. The final stage of the 600,000 pound multi-stage fracture stimulation ("frac" was completed on June 17. The well was placed on production on June 23. The well continues to clean up as frac fluid is recovered and is producing at an initial pumping rate of 300 – 400 barrels of oil per day ("Bopd" . Pumping rates will be optimized during July when all of the frac fluid has been recovered. Arta #12 Hz was producing approximately 15 Bopd prior to the fracture stimulation
