Did a google search for direct sales app
Was curious if Penny was still in business and/or could afford google ads anymore
Remember they were the ones what always mentioned Verb in their google ads which drives more business to Verb. Dumb marketing if you ask me.
Anyway, no. No ads.
So I took a look at the home page and then went over to their blog and read the 2021 wrap up.

Thank goodness this isn't Verb
The 3 minute clip with only 55 views after two weeks has so many cuts and splices. Can't someone talk for 3 minutes?
I took a look and their app still has only 10,000+ downloads on Google.
In-app Products are $8.49 to $84.99 per item. Pretty, pretty, pretty pricy.
They came out with another app called PULSE by Penny
Got at least one customer using it - Rodan + Fields
Got a free version where all the features are excluded except 3
Paid version is $24.95/mo

The 1,000+ downloads have an average rating of 2.3 so most people can download it, but a number of the reviews I read said they can't get it to work.
All the reviews are from this month accept on from December.
Maybe you have to pay $300/year to get the working version, idk.
Irony is Rodan + Fields had a mobile app for many years that at least on Apple got good reviews. Not so much on google through.
Oh and Penny coming out with a Learn system. A bet that will be a doozy.
Hope they have a few dollars left in the bank to bring back these ads again.
Helped Verb reach 30% growth last quarter.
