I don't quite get what you're saying about the judge thing.
I would argue that while clearly NOT positive, it was not a hit piece by definition any more than the positive article was a fluff piece. If we ignore one, we have to ignore the other or we are hypocritical.
And I agree with Evil, better to have positive info for sure, but to ignore the truth of negative things could lead to buying a beautiful house built on an ancient Indian burial ground.
