Sorry, this is false. Deaths are not "UP" in the US. Sure the daily rate of deaths has increased as of late, but its due to the massive increase in cases, which are now trending down. The mortality rate is down approx 90% according to the most recent study I read.
The efficacy of the current MAB's may be debated, but the notion that we are going to see a rise in the fatality rate of Omicron cannot.
